As a REALTOR®, my role is to be aware of market trends, make recommendations to homeowners whether conditions are favourable to sell, and to do a thorough assessment of value to determine a competitive asking price. Since 2015, local real estate enjoyed a Seller’s Market, with low inventory, high demand, and skyrocketing prices. Since the spring of 2018, we’ve noticed things cooling off and sliding back into a more balanced market. While we’re now commanding record-breaking prices for our local market, the cycle itself is totally normal for real estate in most places.
As an agent in the Oceanside area since 2005, I have experience selling all types of residential properties, from mobiles to waterfront condos to rural acreage. I understand the special appeal of the Parksville-Qualicum area and have buyers looking for homes just like yours. I offer a full-service marketing campaign for every home that I list on MLS®. It begins with a home evaluation and extensive research into an assessment of value to determine the highest and best price the market will bear. My marketing program is full service and customizable to each listing. Drone aerial tours, staging, professional photos, and multimedia presentations capture the most flattering features of your home. When the listing is ready, it is submitted to MLS®, posted to Facebook, syndicated to national home and garden websites, and shown on more than 500 different agent websites on Vancouver Island and across Canada. My goal is to advertise your house for sale in as many websites as possible. Technology ensures that every syndicated listing is up-to-date with the latest price, photos, and comments.
